I picked up a bunch of .458 350gr RN bullets to use in my 458 WM as practice loads. I am looking for reccomendations for a fairly mild load for that bullet and caliber combo. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I am loading 350gr and 375gr cast bullets over 50gr of IMR-3031. This should produce about 1600fps.

Three shot groups are under 1.5" at 100yds. Recoil is very mild. Kills deer very dead.

Accurate - 5744, is a great reduced load powder.

I have used it in my Lott with cast, but it will also do well the jacketed.
