Who here on AR makes the Big Bore machined bullets?

Robgunbuilder and Saeed's friend Walter are two that come to mind.

CCMDoc is another. His bullets look really cool! Nice radii and no chatter marks.

Thanks for the compliment, but I don't make any, just use them. I think I sent you some I bought from Macifej and some I bought from Robgunbuilder. Both are top notch and extremely accurate in my 600 Overkill as well as my previous Verney-Carron 600 Nitro Express.

Sorry MacifeJ I couldn't remember where I got them from. I have been studying for finals and had a brainfart.

Saeed's bullets are made by Saeed himself, solely for his use.
Maybe the most accurate monometal copper bullet possible.
Saeed's hobby machinery must have come with some good instructions!

Saeed named the bullets after Walter.
They are called "Walterhog Bullets."
Actually the only thing Walter has to do with the bullets is occasional attempts at sabotage by breaking the CNC tooling.

Macifej's "S&H" brand of bullets are produced for sale to shooters and hunters.
The brass ones I have are the most dimensionally precise and most beautifully finished bullets I have seen in all my years of gunnuttery.

And what about Gerard Schultz of GSC?
He is a member here.
He may claim that his daughter runs the business now, but I am sure he must do a little consulting engineering there still.
His monometal copper HV/soft and FN/solid bullets are the ones that set the standards.

Everyone else (including Barnes) have been slowly adopting some design elements of the GSC bullets over the years.

What RIP said. I've used Macifej's and GSC bullets in .395 and have been extremely happy with my ".395 Varmint Rifle." Wink
