Karl-Erik500 NE or 450 NE
I wonder if the caliber 500 NE and 450 NE is on the way out today or if they still build rifles in that calibers? I have heard that they are uncommon today and that hunters choose 458 Lott or something like that even if they build a rifle on a single shoot. Maybe the 500 NE is not a long range caliber.

Well they are very old specialised calibres but still around I would imagine in doubles and single shots. In a single you could load them to shoot longer ranges than a 458 lott if you could take the recoil.
