chuck375Model 70 Classic in 416 Rem how many rounds does it hold?
Hi, we have a stainless LH M70 in 416 Rem. Does anyone know how many rounds it should hold in the magazine? I'm guessing three, but if we put more than two rounds in the magazine it doesn't feed properly.
Thanks!

chuck375Thanks, that's what I thought. I sent it in to Duane Wiebe to have new bottom metal put on so it could handle four and have him fix the feeding problem.
Thanks again.

Chuck,
The quality of Duane's bottom metal is no secret on these forums, and he's a great guy to deal with to boot! I'm sure your rifle will be 100% when you get it back!

BoxheadInterested to hear the outcome as a few years ago I sent Duane my 416 Win to see if his 375 mag box conversion would work. It didn't.
