Re: Leupold QR rings and bases on 375?
Talleys came today and are mounted on the whitworth, I am very pleased with them. Now if Roger Ferrel will get a chance to quote my ideas for improvements on the rifle I will be very pleased. Thinking now of having him shorten the forend by an inch and a half and replace the plastic tip with a real ebony forend.

I used them on my .375 Weatherby and they are working nicely .

They are about the most cost effective way to go for a good quick detachable mount in my view . Extra rings to set up for spare scopes are very reasonable.

Others on this board have reported they hold up well to .458 s and such .

Any experience with the older style bases with the levers on a big bore. Leupold does not make the bases for an FN (or whitworth in my case)in the new QRW style.
