I tweaked the triggr on his 2009 manufactured Ruger African.
Got it to 3-1/2 Lbs pull.
Also installed a Leupold 1.75-6X VX-III scope.
Target shows 5 shots at 100 yards.
Used Speer bullets.
Result is a very accurate rifle.

Double Rifles, This is the weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as clumsy or random as bolt rifle. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age.

When I selected add picture, I inserted the picture URL, clicked OK and I though that was all I neded to do. Guess I need more picture insertion guidance.

I used Speer 270 grain bullets. I don't have a chrony, so use my Lyman manual load data that is prescribed for 375 H&H at around 2500 fps.
Separately, I found that accuracy was almost as good using Speer 235s with SR4759 powder loaded for 1800 fps (Our deer and pig load).
When we go for elk, I will put together some cartridges using Barnes X bullets. They are too expensive for me to use for paper punching.

Great looking group. I am getting the same except with 250 speer's. I am loading them with 69.0 grains of IMR 4064. What was the powder charge for your load? I am haveing a hard time finding a good load for 270 grain bullets

I use RL 15 in my 375 Ruger for most loads. It shoots most bullets very well, and really likes the Nosler 260 grain pills. The only bullet that has given me groups that were larger than I like are the Barnes copper, and even they are plenty good enough to hunt with.

Wow, that's tight. How much time between shots?
