Rifled multichokes for slugs?
Does anyone know if there is such a thing or if there is somebody making a rifled multichoke for a shotgun for stabilising slugs much like a Paradox shotgun. I reckon it would turn an over/under into a more versatile toy.

Yes, I saw something like this in a gun rag some time back, but I don't know (alright, I don't remember)who made it. - Dan

Yes, I have even seen them in a Cabela's catalog. In some guns, they are about as accurate as a fully-rifled barrel, and in others, they aren't. You have to test one in your gun to know what it wiil do!!

Try this site: www.cation.com and go to the rifle choke section. I have a Mossberg boltaction shotgun on which I put a Winchester brand rifled slug tube. It doesn't shoot sabots worth a darn, but I can get Brenneke (sp?) conventional slugs to group an inch at 50 yards, openning to 3 inches at 110 yards, and that ain't bad. I think I could get the group smaller, but I'm using a 2.5 power scope and the cross hair is over an inch wide at that range. The advice to try different combinations with rifled choke tubes is good. I tried 4 types of slugs before I found one that worked really well in my gun.
