Is this the one you mean. If so then someone will be able to make the link appear as a picture.

Great looking rifle, wouldn't want that bolt peep near my eye though. Wonder what it sold for?

I think they were asking $22.5K for it. But the gun only holds 2 rounds in the magazine. Eeker

It was a complete Hartmann and Weiss rifle that was selling for $22K. This WR (Hartman and Weiss actioned) gun was originally selling for about $15K several months ago. I sent WR an email inquiring as to the stock measurements and such (more out of curiosity than anything) and that very afternoon the web site price jumped to over $17K. Needless to say, I found this to be more than a coincidence.

John,

WR figured that since you are a Marxist, you would be paying for the rifle with someone else's money so price was no object. Smiler

I GUESS SO! Seriously, I don't know if the original $15k price was an error that was not realized until I brought their attention to it with my inquiry or if they were padding the price a bit with the knowledge that someone might be interested. I would expect WR to be a bit more professional than to accept the latter as a proper business practice. In any case, dropping that kind of coin on bolt action trash seemed ridiculous as I already have a safe full (though my trash is not of this quality or beauty). Big Grin

Best,
