chuck375Anyone using 570g A-Frames in their 500 NEs or 500 Jeffery's?
Just wondering. I'm starting to work up loads for them thinking I may switch from the 570g TSX's

416TanzanChuck,
With GSC now producing bullets in the USA, you might want to consider the 450 grain GSC HV. It is quite a bullet, should be more accurate than either the TSX or AFrame, and may even have less felt recoil, depending on your load.
The 450gn HV at 2600fps is 6750ftlbs. For 6000 ftlbs you can aim at 2450fps. All of the bullets, of course, will work on buffalo on down at ranges under 200 yards.

Dutch44Haven't yet but I will for a buff/croc hunt in Moz. Softs only. A-Frames are real killers.

dirklawyerI used the 570 grain Swifts in my Heym 500NE and they shot great, as accurate as Woodies or TSX. Did have to drop the powder charge of R-15 1-2 grains due to slight increase in velocity.
