Does anyone know a good place to get 470 dies at a resonable price. Ross

Dago RedI'm curious, how do their dies compare to RCBS? I've always used (mostly) RCBS, but they seem to always be more expensive than everybody else.

GeorgeSRed,
They work fine. I have a set for my .470 Capstick and it includes the dies to neck brass up from .375 to .470 in three stages.

eurocentricI had CH4D dies for 404 Jeffery, 450/400 and 505 Jeffery, never had any problems.

CCMDocMy first thought on reading the subject line was:
"Who was 470 Capstick?"
As far as CH4D dies - have them in 600 OK, 600 NE and 585AHR - all work just as well as my RCBS, Hornady, etc.

My thought too, "He's dead? I hadn't even hear he was sick."

MasteriflemanI have CH4D in .404 Jeffrey, they ain't pretty but they work great and they are cheaper than RCBS or Redding.

AggieI saw you had another post looking to buy a set of .470 Capstick dies, but the topic was closed and did not allow replies.
I bought a set 2-3 yrs ago, new from Huntington's, and never had the gun built, instead built another .375 H&H.
I would be interested in selling if I can find what I paid for them. They weren't cheap if I recall. Also have 40 new cases I don't yet need.
let me know if you are interested.
