Frans DiepstratenRe: 4 round floorplate for CZ in .416 Rigby
Without having been able to try this out on my newly acquired .416 (WHEN WILL THOSE CASES ARRIVE??), if mine would hold three, I think I'd be very interested in one of these. Please keep us posted.

RIPcducat,
I am not sure, but you might want to try the rib-free box and/or a different follower, and certainly get it all polished up inside.
I know for a fact that some of the CZ followers are of different configurations, some are a lot thicker than others, or some are a lot thinner than others ... whatever it is, I think they may mix and match the followers and boxes willy-nilly sometimes ... makes one wonder what they do with the ramps and rails too, so it is a wonder that the CZ's feed as well as they do, or don't, sometimes.
I would love to get a Wisner "deep-pocket" plate too. Hope he is supplying better springs for the follower too.
Is Jim Wisner taking calls only on Frday mornings still, and what was his telephone number? I'll dig it up if sumbuddy else doesn't post it here.

RIPWill, you got a good idea going there. My Ruger/Shilen .416 Taylor needs to go into a Brown Precision stock. The barrel is a no.4 so I might be able to get in the neighborhood of 7.7# bare.
Jim Wisner's telephone number, Friday mornings only, 9AM to 1PM PST: 306-748-3743
