Thanks for the info.....given that it isn't clear if Remington will be offering this rifle in their M-798, maybe some folks will want to belly up to this offering.

CDNN shows them for $569.99 in their 2006 catalogue. I paid a little more for an Interarms to get the open sights and old-style floor-plate release.
