I don't need to purchase another gun right now because of an upcoming wedding and safari, but I was going to give it until 5:00pm yesterday and buy it if still available. I'm glad someone beat me to the punch... well... sort of glad.

I thought it was a good price. But how good a price was it?? I have gotten several PM's of what a good deal, but nobody has said how good. Just curious. I intend to use the gun in my Alaska guide business. I will be perfect for this one particular area I take hunters that is VERY thick cover on a river. I use a scoped .414 Rem mag most of the time. But on more than one time at about 50 feet I have wanted a open site 458... This will be perfect.
I am interested in Elcab's stock because I know this one will not look good in a couple of seasons.. Thanks guys for your interest.

How good of a price? I paid $650 for my 375. It was missing the front sight hood and was not bedded. Since Winchester went south I have not seen one that had not been molested sell for less than $800 until this one.
