Ulrick- I use 125-133 grs of Rl-15 and a 750 gr woodleigh soft-pt in my 585 NYATI. I have no chrono records but expect its a 2400fps plus load.Trim the cases to 2.785. The 133gr load is quite an eye-opener. I'd avoid using reloading data supplied by folks who don't have a clue (Mike 375) about what this cartridge is about. After all if they don't actually own one or have ever even seen one, how much can you trust their information? Just a word to the wise! -Rob

Overkill -No I will not buy a new A-Square rifle. I sold the other one I had. It worked fine but I wanted a nicer and more classic rifle. Besides I want an action which is designed specific to meet the size and power of the 577 Tyrannosaur cartridge and not just a modified Enfield.. My gunsmith is machining the action and bolt himself from bar stock and also do the hardening (through a metallurgical and engineering firm). Just agreed on french grey finish on the receiver plus some extra details - so its now a US$ 13000 project...!
