Anyone know what the velocity difference between the barrels lengths is?

Yes, you will get about 100 fps faster with the 24" barrel than the 20".
If you ask me anything else about this I will sic Rich on you. Wink
It was a sorry day when they handicapped the Alaskan with a 20-inch barrel. thumbdown

I would think a 24" stainless on a laminate stock would be a good version for an "Alaskan".

100 fps is no big deal. I like the 20' tube on my alaskan.
