Unveiling the C-97 Single Shot Action
Since many of you gave us input a while back about our new line of single shots I thought you might like to get a sneak preview. The photo shows the original 1897 Webley (one of 4 left in existance), on the top and Serial Number 0001 of the reproduction series on the bottom.

The new line will be called the C-97 Series (The C is for Dave Caboth, who is our finish gunsmith and did the development work). There are a few changes from the orignal, the new one is cock on closing versus cock on opening, and some of the small springs, levers and other gismo's have been replaced with coil springs and simpler mechanisms. The first gun will be chambered in 375 flanged and 500 NE (swapping barrels). As with our bolt actions, we will scale this action correctly for calibers up to 700 NE. More information will be available at our website soon.

That is a beautiful piece of work. Much scaled up from the original, too, by the looks of it.

Any info yet on pricing?

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Was nice to visit with you guys at the NRA show. Great actions, the single shot and the Mauser actions, as well as your custom work (the Oberndorf 500Jeff!).

I badly need a .303 British built on one of these and you need a Canadian distributor. But, I wish guys like you would stop making all this neat stuff so that I could stop "needing" it!!!
