Is anybody else having a big problem locating ammunition for the .450/.400 3" NE? I'd like to have around 100 cases for reloading and maybe as many factory loaded rounds. Midway has had their "coming soon" notice up for months now. The stuff on GB has dissappeared as far as I can see. The Ruger No.1s are selling so why is Hornady so slow getting the ammunition in the pipeline? Sorry, rant off.

Wholesale Hunter sold their last box of Hornady brass the other day, but Marilyn said they expect more soon. Scott Taylor is still listing his Hornady 400 grain FMJ-RN on GB; I think he had about 5 boxes of each 2 weeks ago, so maybe solids are all that's left. $90/box is less than MSRP but still pretty high.

I'd wait a while and see what shows up.

Call Hornady direct if you have to have it now. I bought 2 boxes of the bullets directly from them. I paid MSRP but no one else had it.

About 3 months ago I bought a case each of the 450/400 and 9,3x72 direct from Hornady and several folks here made fun of me for paying MSRP. But guess who is shooting , reloading and experminting with different loads now. Some guys have yet to even FIRE ONE SHOT through theirs yet
