JKSCongrats on your 600 OK rifle

I was one of the original 600 Overkill "dirty dozen" but I bailed on the project and sold my components...something I regret doing to this day.
Please do a search on these forums (under "find" keyword 600 OK) and you will see many loads for the OK. Let us know how the rifle turns out and give us a range report on your initial firing!

There are those that do, those that dream, and those that only read about it and then post their "expertise" on AR!

cr500I,m envious. A 600 OK will be my next project. I take it that dies ,reamers etc are available? I have just ordered a 600 OK case to have a look at. Does yours have a brake?
Sympathy please ,I have champagne tastes and beer budget

Start with 155-160 grains of 7828 or 7828 SCC, H414, 0r H4350, but with a chrony for the load development. Check with Rob or Fritz 454 for hotter loads. Have fun!

KennethIHow long did it take for them to put on together for you? Sounds like they worked fast. Do they have some ready to go?

MississippianI picked it up from a gent on the forum. It is new and was not fired by the owner. Sounds like the project took so long to complete that by the time he received the rifle he had lost interest, but I dont know that for certain (just a hunch). Anyway, the package comes with the rifle,CZ action, 24" Pacnor,AHR X Brake,3 position safty, AHR trigger, 2 mercury reducers, brass, bullets and dies.

RobgunbuilderStart out with the std 168 grs of IMR7828 and 900 gr woodleigh sp, fed 215 primer. It may or may not be throated for solids. That is the basic load. Learn to shoot it accurately and comfortably before you move upward. Do not remove the muzzel brake as you will be sorry! This load will do 1950 to 2100fps depending on the barrel length. There are much much hotter loads. Eventually this gun will torque itself completely out of your hands. No T-rex ever built can acxtually compare to it at full tilt boogey. Watch out for double vision( a potential sign of retinal detachment). -Rob

MississippianI checked with the previous owner of the rifle and varified that it is throated for solids. Also he said it had the upgraded magazine box so sounds like all this rifle needs is a shooter! I will keep yall posted cause this could get interesting!! Thanks, KP
