Would the PH action make a good base for a 408 cheytac?
I am on the list for a couple of the ph actions and now I have sort of lost the desire for a huge bore, I was wondering if those of you who build rifles think it would make a good base for a long range rifle like one of the cheytac rifles?

Yes, there is no reason why not. The square bridges are well suited to be shaped for picatinny style rings or adapted to one of the existing rails.

The only problem might be waiting for a suitable tactical stock if you want to go that route. I was mulling a 408 myself.

"Experience" is the only class you take where the exam comes before the lesson.
