.375 Cal 300Gr Accubond...questions?
Hello everyone,

I'm looking for reports regarding the new Nosler 300Gr Accubond in 375 H&H. Loads used, weight retention, accuracy etc.

Actually the 300 grain Accubond is a brand new bullet for 2008.
300 Grain Accubond

If it is as good as the 260 Accubonds it will do just fine! I'm a die hard Partition fan, however my rifle really like accubonds! Several of the forum members have used the Accubonds in Africa with great success.

I have some loaded for my Sako 75 375 but they are not Accubond. They are Serria.

The 260 Accubond performed flawlessly on all manner of African plains game, whether they were shot out of a 24" rifle barrel or a 14" Encore barrel. Almost all were pass thru's and the ones that were recovered were perfect mushrooms...you would have sworn they were partitions. I would say that the 300gr version would only offer a benefit in even bigger and more dangerous game, like cape buffalo where you would want a bit more penetration.

Thanks for all the info. I like the 260gr Accubond myself. Used it on whitetails this year, but did not recover any bullets Wink jumping

I don't think they are available yet. You might call Nosler during the week and ask them.

I am going to Namibia in October and I was hoping to take these bullets. I called Nosler and I believe they said the bullets would be available in mid summer. I would call them as this has been two months since I talked to them, this may have changed.
