Bullet Expansion on the swedish moose
You guys cant compare the buffalo to a swedish moose.

A buff 1000 kg, a swedish moose may be a 200-300 kg.

The buff have so much bigger bone than a swedish moose.....!

500 Grains,

You said that a 750 grains woodleig soft at 2600 f/s will explode/blow up if you shoot game with it, what game does you mean...? a buff or a swedish moose...?

The swedish moose is a really thin animal if you compare it to a buff.

What do you guys think... will the 750 grains bullet blow up in a swedish moose...?

Yes. Don't you have any interest in reading what has already been written here, and in The Perfect Shot? And in many other places?

From all accounts I have been given Overkill for the thin skinned stuff you would be better loading the 650 grainer and driving it a little faster. I am going to borrow a chronograph when my .585 is finished and see how much faster I can get them going than the top loads with the 750 grainer.

I will be shooting feral pigs and other Aussie stuff with it. I will let you know how the 650's go. My mate is building one also and he intends to use the 750's on the same types of thin skinned stuff so we will be able to compare the two bullets. I am hoping they will be finished before my pig shooting trip in July.

Regards PC.
