Shooting lead in a .505 Gibbs?
Is anyone out there shooting lead in their .505 Gibbs Magnum?

I've been debating putting an order in with Mt Baldy; the price is very tempting for target fodder.

If you have used it, any issues with leading? Also, I haven't found any load data for the .505 with lead; would appreciate any pointers or loads that have worked for you.

Thanks

Nice Avatar!

Pulled your Sasquatch tags for the fall season??

I highly recommend the 505 for Yeti/Sasquatch stalking. Big Grin

Let's just say, if I ever run into Sasquatch, I'm bringing back more than just grainy videotape Big Grin

ak-msf check out the thread under post your favorite loads, Idaho Sharpshooter has done some loading of cast bullets with the Gibbs and I'm working with Macifej's solids at the moment. Rodney.
