lawndartAlaska Quick Detachable rings for CZ
Has anyone had experience with the quick Detachable scope rings produced by Alaska Gun Works, or a similarly named out fit.
How have they held up?
Do they seem strong?
Do they hold adjustment?
Are they resistant to corrosion?
I value your input.

ozhunterRalph Martin gives them the "thumbs up" which is enough for me.
The features he pointed out to me look a step up from Talley.

ldmay375I have a set, if you are referring to Alaska Arms, made in Big Lake, Alaska. I have some for a CZ 458 Lott, and many sets for various Ruger rifles from 7mm Rem through 416 Ruger.
My disclaimers: I am no ring/mount expert (but have used several types over many years).
I have not mounted a scope on the 458 Lott yet. I normally only remove my scopes for switching scope, or rifle cleaning if necessary.
My opinion: I really like their rings, I have been using them for several years on Rugers. To me them seem amply strong and I like their looks.
I have never had an issue with retaining zero on the Rugers, in between seasons.
As to the finish, I have never really scrutinized the appearance of the bluing on them. But, I usually hunt in wet conditions, and have had no issues, and treat them no different than any other rings that I have had.
They do have a website with their telephone number listed. I met Morris through purchasing his rings. I am of the opinion, he is an honest and pleasurable guy to deal with, and definitely strives for perfection of any of his work.
I would give Morris a call.
Edited for typos.

impala#03I put a set on a Ruger RSM 458 Lott. Seems well made, goes right back on with no problems. Holds zero very good so far.

458WinI have had them on rifles for years and they work great and are my favorite QR rings.
Being all steel however they are not lightweight.

TREE 'EMI have them on my 375 Ruger and on my 77/22.
I've taken them off and on numerous times and they have held zero.
My 77/22 stays in the top storage of my dog box year-round and doesn't get treated particularly well. So far no signs of rust. It has survived about 8000 miles of gravel roads so far and has not lasted zero

lawndartSounds good guys,
I will get some sets. One of my 416 Rigby rifles needs a scope. I am 60 years old now. That shiny little brass bead up front doesn't shine as much as it once did. Time to put a 1.5x5 onboard. A 9.3x62 may need a set as well.
I appreciate everyone's input. Probably 300 years of combined experience.
Time to go with a single stage trigger, and wing safety, as well.
Thanks again.

AtkinsonGuess I better try a set, never heard of them, but hey I live in Idaho where the buzzards screw the chickens and nobody cares!! do they make them for all rifles..My all time favorite were Lynn Brownells, they were class with pretty checkered levers and low bases that allowed vision of the irons..I have one set now and will probabl buy every set I can find.
