Hi!

I have a Marlin 444S made 1974. The type of the barrel is micro-groove rifling (12 grooves).
The newer Marlin 444 have a different barrer (deep-cut Ballard-type rifling (6 grooves)).

My question is: What is the difference between the barrels concerning bullet weight? Does anyone know how heavy bullets my old Marlin-barrel can stabilize?
