I have read here on AR that the designation L 72 next to the SN (63574) means that the action has a long extractor. Is that right?

I'll try to remember to look at mine when I get home.

Mine is NOT the long extractor, and it has L71 after the serial number. I checked my old Blue Book of Gun Values and found only a mention that there were long extractor models made and the value was about 15% higher. There was no specific information on the serial numbers.
