bwanamrm.416 Hoffman owners, have a question
Picked up a nice custom virtually unfired. Are you guys shooting .416 Remington ammo in your Hoffman or are you loading your own... and if you are shooting Remington Mag how are your groups? Thanks.

SevensDid you by chance pick up the 416 Hoff built by Davenport that Cabela's in Fort Worth had for sale?

bwanamrmI did pick up a Davenport .416... but I don't think it is the same rifle. I bought mine from an estate.

lee440I built a Hoffman back in the 80's and have the proper dies. With the advent of the Rem and my acquisition of one, I just use 416 Rem and can't tell a difference in group size.
