Stryker225Do you guys think it'll work in FAL type rifles too?

500grainsIt's a new one of a kind case with a .308 head and a severely rebated rim.

RobgunbuilderJust the ticket for shooting through glass. Crude cartridge design IMHO. Looks like it headspaces on the case mouth ala 45 acp. That combined with the severely rebated rimis a certain recipe for failure when you might need it most. -Rob

HunterJimJim Brockman also makes a bolt action rifle for this cartridge.

I was looking really hard at this round for over a year, but decided against it. However, having said that, I purchased a .50 AE upper in an A2 configuration.
The Beowolf's severely rebated rim 'looks' like it might cause problems. Also, brass looks like it might be tough to find (having said that I own a T-Rex where one man occasionally makes brass for it in a small shop 2,500 miles away for a different currency

). The uppers also would probably be more than I would want to spend because I knew they were coming out, but didn't know when. If the Beowolf can overcome these obsticals it looks like a great round.
I have been very happy with my AR upper in .50 AE and get 1700fps with 32gr of H110 which was the most accurate load in load development. I used to seat the bullets too deep and would have feeding problems. When I loaded them to spec, everything runs slicker than snot on a doorknob.
