coyotecallerThinking of a buying a 375 Win
I have been thinking of buying a Model 94 in 375 Win for bear, moose, elk and deer for sitting on stand. Any reason why I shouldnt buy it???

vapodogPersonally I'd pick a short bolt action .308 Win for the task (like Remington's Model 7) but the .375 you're looking at is a fine gun and a fine round used in it's distance limitations.....even the big magnums have their distance limitations.

Lar45I picked one up recently and with factory ammo, it shoots great. I've been abit too busy to do much loading for it, but I do have a Lee 250gn mold to try out. I carried it during Deer season, but didn't see anything to shoot at. It sure was light and handy to carry though.

Frank MartinezI had both the 94 big bore and the Marlin 336. Both shot beautifully and with the Barnes original 255 grain FP they are both deadly. Unfortunately my eyes just aren't as good as they used to be so I opted to keep the 336 and added a little burris 4x mini scope. My future son-in-law just shot a small bear with it. We spent all day running up and down through hill and dale and the light weight and easy carry really makes them a pleasure to use.
