TongoWant a .500 A-Square
Hello,
I am the new guy to the board. I am not new to big bores. I currently own a .458 Lott, 375 Ultra Mag. and a .416 Rigby.
I am looking to add a rifle in .500 A-square. I wish A-Square was around, since liked their Hannibal model.
What rifles can be rechambered or rebarreled? CZ550? Also need a good gunsmith to perform the work. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated greatly.
Thank you
Drew

<Mitch>Tongo, I own a 500 A-Square. I simply had a 460 wby. rebarreled to 500 A2. McGowen rifle barrels made my 500 barrel and did all of the nesessary gunsmithing. Pac-Nor barreling also chambers barrels in 500 A-Square. Any action that can handle the 416 Rigby can handle the 500 A2 for example. Brno 602, BBK-02. Ruger Magnum action & CZ550 just to name a few.

<JohnDL>Tongo, if you are interested, I have a 500 A2 Hannibal for sale (plus dies and brass). It is in excellent condition and has a Leupold long relief scope. I decided to sell it because several years ago I lost the vision in my right eye. Now I shoot only lefthanded and I the recoil is just a bit much to shoot with the offhand and enjoy it. If you are interested let me know.

dan belisleTongo, A-square was at the Shot show, and is gearing up to go back into business. Might take a while though. - Dan
