I am looking for new repeatable detachable mounts for my Dakota 76 ,.375 H&H. Claw or EAW? I want it to be quick and not requiring me to look down while taking the scope off.

Mike_TXI have claw mounts on: two 375hh, 416Rigby, 450Rigby and putting on a 6.5Creedmoor and 404Jeffery that are being built. They get my vote - repeatable, easy off with one hand, go back on fairly easy (stab in front foot and snap down).......they also look the best in my opinion.
One of my 375's is a take down version and it is set up for two different scopes.....1-8x 30mm S&B and a 1.5-5x Leupold.

AtkinsonThe claw mounts when properly installed are the best of all by a long shot, also the most expensive by a long shot, but exact return to zero is what they have to offer..
The next best option is a set of QD Talleys on a surface ground action and hand fitted bases..done right they work about as well, and are a little cheaper.

Do you plan on taking your scope off as that Lion closes from 15yards at 30mph

My several German friends had a lot of claw mounts but most set the scope way too high. The photo posted by Mike_TX above shows a good low setup of the scope that I would like with claw mounts.

AtkinsonThey can be high unless you get low ones!~
I think they are a necessity, in that if your buff or whatever gets into the bush and you have to dig him out, if your smart off comes the scope and you sure want it to return when the event is over..
Dennis olson can build you a set of rings for a claw of any kind out of a set of Buehler, Redfield or Leupold rings that are very low, med or high..about $200 to $250 last I had him build.
