Just found out that A-Square still makes 525-grain bullets in .505, including the mono-solid. I like A-Square monos, just wish they made them a little heavier.

Right-oh, the SD of the 525 doesn't exactly tickle m'fancy, either. I know it's traditional and all that, wot?, but sometimes nostalgia gets in the way of doin' a good job. 't's enought t'make a chap consider buyin' his own swagin' press just t'get the proper weight of lead down-range, don'tcherknow, and given the number of times yer likely t'fire the beast, the economics make the whole prospect less attractive. P'raps when the rifles finally hit the gunracks some enterprisin' ammunition maker will come up with somethin' better, but for the present I remain a bit skeptical.
