Johnny rebBlazer?
Thinking of buying a professional. Can I shoot all calibers off of that system or not? The biggest caliber I'd want is 416. Thinking maybe 300 barrel of some flavor one of the 7 mags and 416 is that doable on the professional or not. Thanks for the information

PD999If you mean the Blaser R8, then yes:

DeonYou need to order it with a Safari fore-end, to fit the 22mm diameter of the 416 Rem Mag. If you order a 7mm Mag in Std Diameter (17mm) it will fit the bigger barrel channel, obviously having a slight gap though.

Big Wonderful WyomingYou can buy any of them and open them up with a dowell and some sand paper in about 30 minutes.
If you order a safari for-end it requires no such work.
You can also order fatter barrels in smaller calibers. But they are more expensive.

WowoI took the plunge last year. Had to get the steel receiver professional stock because of the 500 Jeff.
416 is the limit in the standard professional stock. The 416 works very well light, a joy to carry and a pleasure to shoot.
I have 500j, 416 rem, 338 win mag, 7mmRM and 257 Weatherby.
Enjoy!

BiebsJohnny, PM me when you're ready. I can usually get you a good deal on Blaser stuff, new or used. If you can hunt everything you intend to hunt with a 416, you can stay with the alloy/steel receiver. The solid steel receiver models are quite a bit more $$$. You can always add a Kick-Stop to balance the rifle and add weight.
