Who Imports Chapuis Rifles for USA?
Is there one particular outfit that is the distributor for Chapuis rifles in the USA, or several?

Anyone have a recommendation on who to use for a special order?

Thank you

I have purchased two from Charles Prince, with Eurogun Imports in Houston. Charles has always been a square dealer with me.

Take a look at Russ Gould's full description of Chapuis rifles in the African Big Game Hunting section, the thread on Searcy vs. Chapuis Brosse. He is among the importers:

I second this. I doubt I could find anyone else as good as Dale to do business with.

I got mine from Ken Buch at www.kebcollc.com. I know Ken has an importer's license and imports some arms directly; I am pretty sure that includes Chapuis. I suggest you e-mail him. You can scarcely find a nicer, more straight-up guy than Ken.

I have spoken with both Ken at Kebco and Dale Nygaard. Both were easy to talk with and both gave good advice. The custom order thing with Dale was attractive, especially since we both live in Louisiana, but Kebco had one Chapuis Ugex left in stock at the "old money" price, so I jumped on it. It should be here by the end of this week.

Good move Butch. I think you will be really happy with your new rifle.

took care of my discretionary income for the next six months, ordered a 9,4 Chapuis from Dale this afternoon. It will be a couple months getting here, but I wanted one with the cheekpiece and ejectors.
