Talley Rings
I went to 3 gun stores in Idaho Falls today, and not one person had even heard of Talley Rings. Where can they be purchased?

Brownells sells them, or you can buy them direct from Talley I believe.

Stocking dealers do carry them, even Whittaker Guns in Owensboro, Kentucky. Or order them direct from Talley and hope what you want is in stock and not back-ordered.

I know Max's has carried them in the past and probably has a stash of them. Ski's may have a few sets also. But if you went to Sportsmans or Ross's there is no way they would have a clue. Next time you are over in IF be sure and stop in at Max's. He has great taste in rifles and always has a few upper end rifles and shotguns in stock.

Just give them a call. They are wonderful people to do business with.

Not sure if that have the style/model of Talley's you need but Midway USA usually has them in stock or you can call Talley direct, as Rusty advised, they are very helpful!

Scott,

If you want them for the 416 Rigby, last time I checked, Talley did not make rings for the Ruger M77.

And the peep sights are on back order until July 2005.

Note that Talley moved to South Carolina. No longer in Wyoming.

Allen,
Thanks for the web site.

Tim,
Yes, it is for the Ruger, which I love by the way. I e-mailed them as suggested by Rusty, and asked if they made such a critter.

William,
I went to Sportman's Warehouse, Ross's and Ski's. I don't know about Max's. Where are they?

Max's is southwest of Ross's about one block. If you see tell him I said howdy. I am surprised Ski couldnt help you out. He usually has a set or 2 stashed.

William,

Thanks for the tip on Max's. I always try to stop into Ross's, Ski's and Sportsmans' every time I'm in IF. I will make it a point to try to find Max!

I hit IF yesterday, but being a Sunday, only got to stop at SW.
