Nice work. I wish mine looked as good.

Think about leaving magazine walls at .125 fore and aft,as they can take quite a beating under recoil.

nice site

man,the BEST deal in the world for a follower is the ruger for the 375 or 416... like 15 bucks, zero work.

.125" for the mag may be too heavy... i used either 16 or 14 ga sheet.

$15 oh well I can say I made it myself. (only took about 3 hours ) I didnt know what size to make my box(didnt get your measurements until it was all tacked up) so I used the thicker stuff so I could mill a bit off the inside to make it bigger or the outside to thin it up. I think i will be milling the sides down a s the inside measurements are very close to what you sent me.

Were do you get the ruger follower?

Tonto, is it just the angle of picture, looks like the dogleg bolt might be a knuckle buster. You keep this up and guys'll be wanting you to build guns for them. Nice description of your work and pics.

localhand- I think you are correct the front and back should be left thick.

475guy- I cant stand that dogleg my boy already made me a fancy new one. Soon as the box is set Ill start on the bolt.

open up, cock on open, new bolt handle and ill think of more.
