.375 Dakota
I haven't seriously looked at this cartridge until lately. It appears as though it'll work thru the .338 Win Mag length action of the M-70.

Is this true?....will it run thru the action....possibly given a little rails work...

Is the Brass available?...

Anyone have one so reworked?

This is a heck of a round in a short action.....and yes, I'll refrain from calling it a .375 WSM!!!

It is basically the same length as the 338. You might need to do a little work on the rails.

Grafs has the brass for about $1.5 each.

As usual just my $.02

I've got three boxes of new brass for the 375 Dakota if you want them. I bought a 375 Dakota and ended up returning it for not being in the condition it was advertized. I bought the brass from a different source and ended up getting stuck with it.

I too have been considering getting a rifle made in either the .375 or .404 Dakota, I am having a hard time finding ballistics on the Dakota rounds, as well as info on getting the componants for these cartridges. I would really like to do a comparison between these and the standard chamberings of the same cal.
