Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

my previous results with them have been than they feed very well in my rifles.. the flat nose is small enough to keep feeding like an RN
And thanks to Jeff's headsup, I have a couple of boxes of the Hornady .510/570-grain softs on the way.
The solids were already sold out.

jeffeossoboth at 1.265" ave. length, with middle of cannelure about .78 or so. the softs tended to be more varied, averaging 1.267 or so, from 1.263 to 1.270 .. mostly due to the "curl" of lead on the nose .. measured to the side, pretty consistent ..
I expect them to work as designed, and hit same POI

jeffeossojust loaded up 94-100gr of h335 in my 500 AR with these .. too hot to go to the range this late, though
