375 Dakota vs 375 H&H
Does anyone own one? What are the advantages of the cartridge?

The advantages are:

More velocity (there is a point of diminishing return on this.

No belt on case, meaning (usually) longer case life.

The advantages are greatly reduced in attractiveness by the .375 Ruger.

While the .375 Ruger has about the same ballistics as the .375H&H, the .375 Dakota is close to the .375 Weatherby.

By itself a good cartridge, but it is fatter and so steal more magazine capasity than the Ruger.
If you want it, get it - and a supply of brass....

Case life is the only advantage I see to the Dakota but as RIP put it the attractiveness disappears with the Ruger 375.
