Gatogordo9mm RIFLE bullets?
Anyone know of a source for such an item? I've got a friend with a drilling in a rare 9mm rifle caliber that can't find any non-pistol bullets. He is not a caster but that may be a last resort. Thanks CAT

GeorgeSGatogordo,
He should slug his bore first to get the correct diameter. Then, he can swage the readily available .358" bullets down to that diameter.

HobieWhat are the specifics on the bore? E.g., is it .355" or .358" bore? What is the cartridge?

GatogordoHe said the bore was .355. I can't recall the cartridge but I'll call him and find out. Maybe 9x72? We were just talking about drillings and he mentioned in passing that he couldn't find any bullets far it, but had dies. Thanks for the help.

GatogordoMany thanks, he is thrilled to find that he can buy heavier bullets and is going to try the .354 hawks 250s. The caliber is a 9 x72R and the bore diameter is .355.
He tried swaging .358 bullets and they would stick in the swaging dies.

HobieI was thinking you could try
Taipan Bullets for .356" bullets... but they're all pistol bullets.

N E 450 No2If his velocity is 2300fps or less the .025jkt will give good expansion on deer and pigs. I use the 300gr .025jkt bullets in my 450/400 double at @ 2330fps with EXCELLENT results on deer and pigs. The 285gr .035jkt 9,3's do a great job on deer and pigs also.
