The New CZ Pop Up Peep

WillThe New CZ Pop Up Peep
CZ just installed their new Pop Up Peep on a CZ 550 that I chambered to 416 Taylor.
I supplied some ammo with the rifle and though I was worried whether it could be done with the front sight/height that was already installed on the rifle, they installed the pop up peep sighted in for my front sight. I took it to the range today to prove it.
Pretty darn impressive. And an excellent job.
It also clears the Leupold scope wth Medium Warne rings. Yippee.
Since a peep is inherently more accurate/consistent than traditional open sights, that new pop up peep could come in handy.
Nice job CZ.

Paolo9,5x73Especially nice on rifle with synthetic stock. The peep is superior to scope in poor weather at close range. The rifle stock must fit shooter perfectly.

Todd WilliamsWill, where did you get the peep sight and did you have to have it installed by a gunsmith. I have a synthetic stocked 416 Rigby CZ 550 currently with a 1/25 X 4 Trijicon. Would like to just switch it to a peep and use the scope on a different rifle.
Thanks,
Todd

I took it to CZ. I really don't remember who actually does the conversion. Jason Morton at CZ-USA can tell you the whole scoop including costs.

.
Will, I thought the CZ peep sight was designed to be folded into the rear bridge cavity before mounting the scope?
