DuckearWhat kind of accuracy are you getting with .458WM in your Lott?
I have heard all sorts of stories, from great to bad. <BR>Looking for a bit broader opinion.Shooting .458 WM ammo in your 458 Lott, the accuracy of the 458 WM ammo is:>1 MOA better than with 458 Lott ammo<1 MOA better than with 458 Lott ammothe same as with the 458 Lott ammo<1 MOA worse than with 458 Lott ammo>1 MOA worse than with 458 Lott ammoI refuse to soil my Lott's chamber with 458 Win Mag ammoDont really know, never took the time to measure that closelyDon't have a 458 Lott, but had to vote

RobgunbuilderJust like shooting a .38special in a .357 magnum chamber. POI shift but No discernable difference, just don't make a habit out of it.-Rob

shootawayI have done it a few times.Same groups and POI at 50 and 100yds.Do not worry if ever you are in doubt. This was out of my Ruger 458 Lott.Just keep your barrel clean in order to have predictable accuracy and POI.
