Are they any good books on building a big bore? I have put togather a few muzzleloaders from scratch just a blank and barrel. I have all the equipment i should need just need to know where to start.

Jack Lott had a good article on stocking big bore rifles, I know someone scanned in the article, but don't have the URL, as I have the original article.

There was a pretty good article on big bore rifles by Boddington, and one on custom rifles in an issue of Peterson's rifle shooter, it was a few years back.

Asside from that, no definative texts. You just need to read whatever you can find on the big bores, and see what your preference is in a rifle.
