Not that anyone here would be interested since the the .375 Ruger Hawkeye is about to take over the world. I listed my M70 .375 Classic Super Express CRF in the ARBAY classifieds.

Shoot ireload when I put my NIB .375H&H SS Classic on the classifieds I was informed by one of our resident cheese head helper people that I was a criminal for asking what I asked for it.

It sold in about 15 minutes on Gunbroker for more than you are asking for yours.

But if I were you I'd definitely get a hold of a M-77 .375 Ruger it will make the world a safer place. Wink

Thanks for the tip surestrike.
Guess I will move to an auction since they are so un-popular here. I guess the M70 is today's hula hoop. Big Grin

I think that the fact Ruger is producing a 375 Alaskan is a great thing, because in my opinion, it will force Winchester/Browning to get their act together and find a way to start producing the classic Model 70.

I love my model 70, and I also respect the ones that do not.

Guns are like cars, some love Porsche, others Ferrari.

Cheers,

The new Ruger Hawkeyes are a good foot forward. Hopefully Herstal Group will take note and make improvements to the M70 when they start producing it again at a different factory. Improvements could include a one-piece triggerguard with hinged straddle floorplate (Blackburn, Sunny Hill), integral scope bases (Brno, CZ), 98 Mauser bolt release, etc.

I also like my Win Mod 70's, but I think a better description could have been found than Porsche and Ferrari !
