I'm not trying to pick on the new double square bridge magnum Mauser rifles. I helped Stu on this project pictured below. The fit, finish & function of this custom rigby is far beyond what is available from Sauer/Mauser today. All this for about the exact same price. Sounds like a pretty fairly priced custom weapon through Satterlee Arms. Stu's work shouldn't be compared to the prices of CZ's and Big Rugers. When looking for a thrifty big action in smaller quantities you have to remember that your kinda asking a talented smith to build a savage. It's a little hard to swallow.
