Well after my past post and checking on a set of express sights for my 375 Mark X I brought home a CZ550 in 375 H/H my wife asked don't you have a 375 ? What can a guy say YEP ! She just rolled her eyes and shook her head and walked away. Looking forward on trying it out Bill

BaDonkaDonkBill,
We have all had these exact conversations with our wives. I am looking for another as we speak and I received the same look, I think we just get used to it. Good shootin

bullterrierBut at least she knows what calibres you've got... My wife went to buy me some ammo for Christmas (cos she's great) but couldn't -
1. she doesn't have a firearms licence
2. when asked "What calibre and type?" she replied "Three-something." I got vouchers instead.....

DGR ShooterCongrats on your new rifle

I don't think you'll regret buying a CZ

D HunterGood luck with the new wife and the new rifle. I hope they both fit. Sometimes if it doesn't work out with one of them you have to part with both of them.

Good hunting.

GrumulkinMy wife bought me a new CZ 550 Safari Magnum in 458 Lott a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, she doesn't agree that since I now have the rifle I should hunt Cape Buffalo.

Rodney H.{500Jeffery}Love those CZ's. In a conversation with my wife after many years of marriage I instructed her that upon my death that the gun collection not be sold for what I told her was paid for them but for there value instead. Key word was told, she never bought the idea these things just multiply. Rodney out.

trekker111My wife is bad, she tries to make me justify it to her. Which is a lose lose situation for me, because it can't be done. I get the "You just spent $1000 dollars on a gun you just HAD to have and now you think you need this"
She thinks she got me the last time (when I bought my 375 H&H), before I knew it she asked me what it can kill and I replied "anything on earth" She said "good, you'll never need to buy another rifle."
So I bought a pistol.
When I mentioned passing on my guns to my sons I was told in no uncertain terms that it wasn't going to happen, I was going to be buried with them since I needed them so bad. I hope she gets a big casket.

Idaho SharpshooterI'm building the 550 and 577 based on the Gibbs case. My wife just asked if I cared if she remodeled the kitchen. My response..."honey I love you, and if that makes you happy, go ahead". It's like a mantra.

Jim Z.I have had these conversations with my wife too. She also wanted me to jusify it to her.
So I got rid of the wife, and bought as new rifle.
