Hey guys,

I just created a drawing for the 510 Wells to compare it to the 500 A-Square. Please check to see if my dimensions are correct. Thanks. Ming

Sorry, but I cannot see the drawing.

Why not just go with the 500 A-Square which is pretty much the standard these days? You can get dies off the shelf from CH4D and reamers off the shelf from Dave Manson.

Thanks guys.

Hey Rob,

Is it nessesary to tighten the claw extractor of the 416 Rigby CZ 550 to hold the 460 WB casing better? I like everything snug and tight on all guns and I just cannot stand a loosly fit item.

Also, does it matter if the extractor is made of spring steel or regular steel? How easy is it to make an extractor from scratch? Any info will be greatly appreicated. Thanks. Ming

Ming- The CZ.416 extractor works fine as is with the 460 WBY case. It is not the extractor thats loose, but the bolt face is deeper for the .416 Rigby as compared to the .460 WBY case. This accomodates the rim thicknesses. If it bothers you, take off the extractor, anneal it, bend slightly till it fits to your liking and then re-harden it. Not very difficult to do.-Rob
