Can anyone tell me what the average build time is for a Searcy Double in the PH model ?

JudgeGLast time I talked to Butch, it was nine months. If you give Butch a deadline, i.e., I need the rifle by ? because I'm on the way to Tanzania (and if Butch accepts that deadline)... he WILL make it.
Why not just go to
http://www.searcyent.com and call the guy. Just don't tell him that you know me.
JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

The Judge is correct--about nine months. We placed our order for a .577 with Butch in early April and Butch said it will be done by the end of the year.
Call him. He is a GREAT guy to deal with.

iamgenePlaced order with Butch for my PH in early June for April 2006 delivery.
As above, call or email him, he will let you know.

surestrikeButch had mine done in 5 months due to a hunt deadline. Butch is 100% A OK good guy.
Tell him I said you'd have it done in 3 weeks.

"Tell your dad hello for me, and both of you enjoy the holiday. I'll be working this weekend. I hate deadlines. I should learn to keep my mouth shut."
The man will go above and beyond for his customers. I don't think you can get much better than him.

George SemelNot if you got to go shoot some elephants every year or two. Then again you don't have to worry about the germ she or he brings home to meet dear old dad. One in 9.3 x 74R to hunt the lodge Poles and the dark timber for Elk, would float my boat real well.
