375 H&H - 250 gr Trophy Bonded Bear Claws
Has anyone had experience with these bullets for plains game?

A friend has some Federal premium ammo loaded with this bullet that he wants to sell me.

The advertised velocity is 2670.

I've used Trophy Bondeds in my 416 rifles for some time. Good, tough bullet.

I've used 300 gr TBBCs - they worked perfectly, even on buffalo.

I've also used the 300gr Trophy Bonded. Fantastic performance on everything from impala to eland.

I wouldn't hesitate to use the 250 Trophy Bonded out of a 375H&H on any plains game.

I think TBBC or the Northfork are the absolute BEST on the market today. However, do you really need that good of a bullet for plains game. The old Hornady, Speer, Sierra, Corelokt, PowerPoints work damn fine for me.

That's the round I used in RSA and it worked perfectly. I've also used them on whitetail and pigs. No problems at all.
