Has anyone had an experience with Anderson Wheeler guns?
At the moment I do not seek any big bore double rifle because I simply have no urgent need for it but having a general overview on what would be feasible I found out that Bond‘s rifle would be to my taste. But what is really astonishing is the price of that rifle which starts at £14,000...!!! This is on pair with Heym's 88-B which is still more or less affordable for majority of the serious big game hunters.

McKayI believe they are built on Verney-Carron actions? Don't recall for sure. Someone here will know.

Sid PostVerney-Carron are hard to beat for the money. They are essentially a bespoke custom built rifle. You can get as fancy as you desire with the specific features you want at very reasonable price points for any level of final fit and finish.
