COhunter375advice needed on CZ .416 Wby. for sale
I have a CZ 550 in .416 Wby. that I am interested in selling, but have no idea what a fair asking price would be. Some details:
-AHR installed replacement trigger
-AHR straightened bolt
-AHR 3-position safety
-McMillan black CZ safari magnum stock
-22" stainless barrel #5 contour (from Montana)
-NEGC sights
-rifle has been coated in Roguard with NP3 on the internals
It probably has more appeal as a platform to build something by simply re-barreling given that it already has 3-position safety, improved trigger and straightened bolt, McMillan stock, etc., but it could make a pretty vicious Alaskan rifle as is. I don't know if I should treat it as a "parts rifle" or not when trying to sell it.
Please share your thoughts on what would be a fair asking price (or let me know if you have any interest). Thanks all.

Cane RatMy guess is that you are into it for at least $2,500 with all that work.
I would think $2K would be fair.

bigdoggy700Sounds like an interesting gun. Post some pictures here and list it in the classifieds. You never know when someone may jump on it.

BiebsThere's no flies on the 416 Weatherby....I'd keep it as that.

CCMDocI'm with Biebs on this.
.416 Weatherby is probably the most versatile gun I have. Don't change a thing and sell it "as is".
